Interview on Future Radio

On 15th December 2023, Judi-mae was invited onto the ‘Norwich Today’ show by Future Radio presenter Sophie Rice, to discuss her recent award win. They talked about the local business community, life as an entrepreneur and how 2024 was shaping up for Mae Day Marketing. The Corporate LiveWire Innovation & Excellence Awards are the most highly anticipated and celebrated recognition within the global corporate community, highlighting firms and individuals that have introduced new methods and ideas in their industry over the past 12 months.

There were 27,515 nominations from 34 countries worldwide, making this year’s competition exceptionally fierce. The judges of the Corporate LiveWire Innovation & Excellence Awards were impressed with Mae Day Marketing’s ‘community feel, personal touch and emphasis on service’.

2018

Head of Marketing, Woodforde’s Brewery

Judi-mae, a lifelong Norwich City Football Club fan, arranged a press day on behalf of Woodforde’s Brewery to celebrate their newly announced sponsorship of the Barclay Stand – a dream come true! 💛💚 This great piece of news was covered by multiple national and local news outlets, including the Morning Advertiser, Talk Norwich City, Eastern Daily Press and the football club themselves.

Judi-mae also worked hard for Woodforde’s Brewery to secure brand building press activity during the summer of 2018 via events at the brewery, beer naming competitions and relationships with local charities. Two such successes were the Break Charity beer naming competition at the Norfolk Show and a Norfolk Day celebration at the brewery in Woodbastwick.

2016

Moving in to the brewing industry with Lacons Brewery

In 2016, Judi-mae moved away from Home Improvements and started working in the beer and brewing industry. Amongst the many PR campaigns she designed and carried out for recently revived heritage brand, Lacons Brewery, she supported the launch of their canned IPA, Quell, onto the trains from Norwich to London. 2010

Digital Marketing in High Demand

In 2010, Judi-mae was responsible for bringing in millions of pounds of revenue for Anglian Home Improvements each year and used all technologies and tools available to her in order to be as effective as possible. She was interviewed by New Media Age, a marketing and insights magazine, about her successes with A/B and MVT testing on websites using Google Website Optimiser.

2009

Anglian’s First Digital Marketer and Judi-mae’s First Award

As the first employee at Anglian Home Improvements to ever be brought onboard to focus on digital marketing, Judi-mae’s instigated the campaign for and was part of the team that won an early award in Social Media marketing.

Judi-mae was also interview by Marketing Week magazine in 2009 about user testing and multivariate testing technologies which were part of her focus when working for Anglian Home Improvements. She used these tools in order to increase website lead flow into the business and was passionate about their benefits and uses.
